Module 1: SKETCH

  • Introduction to NX & its interface.
  • Navigation into applications (template selection) and display controls.
  • CSYS and plane selection for sketch
  • Access Sketch and sketch in task environment
  • Sketch Curve: Profile, line, arc, circle, fillet, chamfer, rectangle, polygon, studio spline, ellipse, conic, and point.
  • Curve edit: quick trim, quick extend, make corner.
  • Sketch Constraints: geometric/dimensional, Display sketch constraints, auto constraint, auto dimension, show/remove constraints, animate dimension, convert to reference, alternate solution, inferred constraint & dimensions, create inferred constraints, continuous auto dimensioning.

Module 2: PART DESIGN/SOLID MODELING

  • Introduction to feature based solid modeling
  • Interface customization and navigation.

  • Sweep: Sweep along guide, swept, tube
  • Mesh surface: Ruled, through curves
